This Moroccan runner is fully handmade and hand-wooven by women working in cooperatives in rural areas at the doors of the Sahara desert.
Feel the satisfaction of owning a piece made of 100% natural material and dyes, and appreciate the hard work of a women who spent 24 days creating this piece on her own.
All colors found in this rug are all-natural dyes. The yellow is from the natural safran, the red from henna, the blue from indigo, burgundy from pomegranate, and the white is made of wool from sheep that live in the Atlas mountains at altitudes as high as 10,000 feet.
Star of Morocco is honored to support this particular woman's cooperative of this region.
