Morocco's Terms and Conditions

Here at Star of Morocco, we are committed to total customer satisfaction. We absolutely want each and every customer to have a happy experience shopping at our online store, and our staff will always be available to offer any assistance you need to make that happen. We will be available to answer any question you may have at 512-300-1006 Monday through Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm central time.

1) This store does collect demographic data and personal data to provide you a better internet experience.

2) Your personal details will remain private and confidential. We will never sell, rent, barter or share your personal details in any way with any other company. All data collected is for our internal use only.

3) We hate spam as much as you do. Actually, I think we hate it more since we get something like 100-odd junk e-mails each day. So, we will NEVER send you any unsolicited e-mail. If you choose to subscribe to our free weekly newsletter, you will receive your newsletter once every week. Clear unsubscribe details are always shown on the newsletter.

4) If you choose not to receive our free weekly newsletter, we will only contact you to answer your queries and/or send you your order confirmation. We will not contact you anytime else.

5) We may from time to time, send you pertinent information on special offers, giveaways or special discounts should you choose to subscribe to it. In any case, you will receive no more than one (1) of such e-mail every week.

6) This site does use cookies. However, we do not keep any of your personal details on cookies. We simply store your Customer ID (just a number) in cookie format. This Customer ID does not correlate to any of your personal information. We also store your first name on cookie format to personalise this website. This cookie is only present if you have not registered as a member of our site. If you are a member, then the only cookie that we use is the Customer ID cookie.

7) We may from time to time post up surveys to measure your response to certain new additions to the website. As a rule, you are never forced to fill in these surveys. Furthermore, should you choose to fill in the surveys, you can choose to remain anonymous.

In case of damage during shipping, damages must be reported to us no later than 24 hours form receipt of the merchandise, in writing through email at info@moroccan-furniture-decor.com. Please keep all original packaging materials or your will not qualify for a refund. We will then provide you with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Our store will be glad to return or exchange any damaged product, but only the ones with a clearly marked RMA number and original packaging. We will then make arrangements for pick up.

All damaged merchandise must be returned no later than 10 days from receipt. Moreover, any requests of return or exchange should be made through email at info@moroccan-furniture-decor.com no later than 24 hours of receipt of merchandise or order will not be refundable, nor exchangeable. Due to the nature of the workmanship of our products, our return policy is strictly enforced.

Products that are damaged during shipping are the only ones subject to refund. As all our products are all handmade, pictures shown on the web site may vary slightly from the products ordered. Slight variations in products are not considered damages, and therefore do not meet the requirement for neither a refund nor an exchange.

All special/custom orders are neither refundable nor exchangeable. All special order purchases are final, and will never be subject to a refund or an exchange for any reason.

Any returned merchandise will be subject to 7.5% credit card processing fees and an additional 20% restocking fees. Our store does not accept COD deliveries and will not refund any return shipping fees. All large merchandise that uses freight as a shipping method will not be refundable. As our products are all handmade, our return policy is strictly enforced.

All our products that are in stock will generally be shipped within a week to three weeks from placing the order using any carrier at our discretion. All special and custom orders will be shipped within twelve to sixteen weeks from placing the order. As all custom and special orders are made by artisans in Morocco , Star of Morocco is not responsible for lead time. Lead time can be any time from four to sixteen weeks.
